Bookings are open to fully vaccinated individuals in mixed groups, or for private groups of families living in the same household.
LIABILITY WAIVER – WATERSPORTS ACTIVITIES THE PEARL-QATAR (2021 JANUARY)
BPWT, its contractors, and volunteers supporting BPWT activities take no responsibility whatsoever for any accident, loss or injury caused during this session. All participants do so at their own risk in the full knowledge that they are wholly responsible for their own wellbeing, and safety decisions should be made accordingly.
GENERAL RULES:
- Swimming skills (ability to swim 25 meters) are a prerequisite for joining the activities. BPWT must be notified of any health irregularities prior to the sessions.
- PFDs (Personal Floatation devices) are to be worn at all times for adults & children whilst undertaking activities.
- A responsible adult with a valid booking must accompany any person under the age of 14. Sharing of boards will not be possible at this time to enable physical distancing with the children by the BPWT team in case of an emergency with the parent.
- Listen to the safety instructions given to you by the instructors and volunteers & follow the Guidelines set by BPWT. Our interest is your safety.
- Take care of your valuables on and off the water, BPWT does not hold responsibility for any loss, or damage. BPWT does not take responsibility for third party liability.
- All participants must present their Green status on their Ehteraz app to join our sessions
- Wear a mask on arrival, during safety briefing and when off the water.
DECLARATION:
I acknowledge that I have read and understood the above general rules.
I am/my child in good health and have no known medical complaints that will restrict my ability to participate in any of the activities organized by BLUE PEARL. E.g. Please advise instructor of asthma, previous broken bones, dislocated joints, diabetes, allergic reactions, wear contact lenses/hearing aid, any disabilities, other conditions)
I declare that I can/my child can swim at least 25 meters and I am/my child is confident in the water wearing a Personal Floatation Device. I understand that I am/my child is to wear the PFD (personal floatation device) provided by BPWT. Any circumstance (injury, damage or other) resulting in not wearing the PFD is solely my responsibility.
I recognise that participation in physical activities, especially water sports, involves an inherent risk of injury to one’s person or property and I acknowledge that whilst participating in any such activity associated with BPWT I do so entirely at my own risk.
I understand and do not object to photos taken during the session and used for marketing purposes. Please get in touch with us through hello@bluepearlexperience.com if you would like your photo removed.
COVID19 ADDITIONS:
I understand the hazards of the novel coronavirus (“COVID-19”) and am familiar with the government’s guidelines regarding COVID-19. I acknowledge and understand that that the circumstances regarding COVID-19 are changing from day to day and that, accordingly, the government guidelines are regularly modified and updated and I accept full responsibility for familiarizing myself with the most recent updates.
Notwithstanding the risks associated with COVID-19, which I readily acknowledge, I hereby willingly choose to participate in the activities organized by BPWT.
I acknowledge and fully assume the risk of illness or death related to COVID-19 arising from my being on the premises and participating in the Activities and hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE (on behalf of myself and any minor children form whom I have the capacity contract) BPWT; their owners, officers, directors, agents, employees, contractors, partners, volunteers and assigns (the “RELEASEES”) from any liability related to COVID-19 which might occur as a result my being on the premises and participating in the Activities.
I shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the RELEASEES from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, judgments, losses or expenses of any nature whatsoever (including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees, costs and disbursements, whether of in-house or outside counsel and whether or not an action is brought, on appeal or otherwise), arising from or out of, or relating to, directly or indirectly, the infection of COVID-19 or any other illness or injury.
It is my express intent that this Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement shall bind any assigns and representatives, and shall be deemed as a RELEASE, WAIVER, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the above-named RELEASEES.
By this statement I hereby agree and release BPWT, their employees and\or agents and Volunteers associated with the activity from any and all liability whatsoever in relation to any loss, damage or injury arising from my participation in the series, howsoever caused.
Or, I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor in the booking. I have the legal right to consent to and, by ticking the T&Cs box, I hereby do consent to the terms and conditions of this Waiver.
BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY WATERSPORTS THE PEARL-QATAR- Update 2021 JUNE 4.
All bookings are to be made online at www.bluepearlexperience.com, we do not process bookings via messages, or phone calls. The booking system enables you to search availability and make bookings 24/7.
All communication including session updates rescheduling, cancellations are via email. Please keep an eye on your emails for updates!
BOOKING PROCESS – WATERSPORTS
When booking you will receive an automated PENDING status email.
We will CONFIRM the go ahead up to 24 hours before your session, however on rare occasions the confirmation can be 12 hours before the session due to weather and unforeseen circumstances effecting the scheduled sessions.
Blue Pearl reserves the right to reschedule your session in case of 1./ unsafe weather conditions or in the case of 2./ insufficient number of bookings for the session to go ahead (minimum 3 bookings required for a session to go ahead).
Our team will communicate the postponement of the session & possible reschedule timings with you via email.
PRIVATE GROUP BOOKINGS

- full upfront payment up to 48 hours before the session in cash or by online payment is required to confirm your booking
- minimum order for Private group bookings is QAR 720 up to 4 people for 90 min sessions at The Pearl.
- cancellation via email to hello@bluepearlexperience.com up to 48 hours before the session are eligible for full refund, minus QAR 200 admin fee
- cancellation via email to hello@bluepearlexperience.com up to 24 hours before the session are eligible to 50% refund, minus QAR 200 admin fee
- cancellation within 24 hours of the session via email and no-shows on the day are fully chargeable and non-refundable
- in the case of unsafe weather conditions our team will reschedule the session with you to a suitable timing
GROUP BOOKINGS INTO SCHEDULED GROUP SESSIONS

- for groups from 2 people full upfront payment is required in cash or by online payment up to 24 hours before your session. Your spots are confirmed once payment is settled.
- our team will send you a text message for online payment
- cancellations can be made via email to hello@bluepearlexperience.com up to 24 hours before your session for full refund, minus QAR 200 admin fee
- cancellations within 24 hours of the session and no-shows are fully chargeable and non-refundable
- in the case of unsafe weather conditions our team will reschedule the session with you to a suitable timing
INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS (1 person) INTO SCHEDULED GROUP SESSIONS
- Book into our sessions at www.bluepearlexperience.com. All bookings are online, and all communication regarding bookings is via email.
- Preferred payment method is online payment, but we also accept exact cash payment on location
- We recognise that the majority of those who cancel do out of necessity. To allow all in the community to enjoy the sessions even with limited group sizes please note the below policy to enable the transfer of spots to other clients in case of cancellations:
- Cancellations of individual bookings – contact Blue Pearl of your cancellation request up to 12 hours before the session, by replying to the booking email received from the system. This will enable us to transfer spots to those potentially on the waiting list and to plan our instructor to client ratios and equipment need for the session.
- No-shows or late cancellations (within 12 hours) – full fees of your no-show session will be charged to the next session’s fees
LOYALTY CARD HOLDERS
Will be charged 1 session to their Loyalty Card in case of late cancellation (within 12 hours of the session), or no-show.
FATBIKING LIABILITY WAIVER (2021 JANUARY) – includes Fatbike Tours & BIKESMART courses
This form and declaration MUST be read and completed by all participants/ or legal guardians of participants under 18 years, in activities organized by Blue Pearl Watersports Tourism (BPWT).
BPWT, its contractors, partners and volunteers supporting BPWT activities take no responsibility whatsoever for any accident, loss or injury caused during this session. All participants do so at their own risk in the full knowledge that they are wholly responsible for their own wellbeing, and safety decisions should be made accordingly.
GENERAL RULES:
• Basic cycling skills are a prerequisite for joining the activities. This is a group ride, where all ride together with the guidance of Blue Pearl bike guides. Listen and follow the instruction of Blue Pearl’s guides your safety is their main concern.
• BLUE PEARL must be notified of any health irregularities before the sessions. Make sure you hydrate well before and after the session.
• A responsible adult must accompany any person under the age of 14 as a participant in the event (on the track).
• Littering is not allowed to keep the track safe and to take care of the environment while undertaking this eco-friendly activity. Please use the closest bin to dispose of the trash before starting the activity.
• Personal protection gear provided by Blue Pearl (helmets) are to be worn at all times whilst undertaking activities. All gear (bike and safety gear) are the property of Blue Pearl and are to be handed back to the organizers after the session in the same condition. Please take care of the gear as if it was your own so many more people can enjoy this biking activity.
• No valuables or loose items are to be taken onto the track and use of electronic devices during the activity is not recommended for safety reasons.
• Closed shoes must be worn for the activity for safety reasons.
• Participants deciding to stop and leave during the activity must communicate this intent to a guide, the group will be stopped and the participant will be escorted back to the sign-up location for the hand-over of equipment. There are no refunds in this instance.
• Participants must hold Green status on their Ehteraz app to join our sessions and wear a mask on arrival and departure from the session/event
• Clients participating with OWN BIKES & SAFETY GEAR – equipment will be quickly inspected at the beginning of the session for safety (brakes, tyres, frame, chain, helmet), if the bike is not in working order it will not be allowed on the course and the client will have option to join with a Blue Pearl bike for an extra fee if available. There will be no maintenance of OWN bikes by Blue Pearl staff on location or during the ride. Riding only in a helmet, no helmet no ride.
• The bike ranger will have the ability to send clients off of the track for dangerous riding without refund.

I recognise that participation in physical activities, involves an inherent risk of injury to one’s person or property and I acknowledge that whilst participating in any such activity associated with BPWT I do so entirely at my own risk.

Payment – upfront payment via bank transfer required to confirm your booking. Our team will get in touch with you for details, following your online booking.

- Cancellations – contact Blue Pearl of your cancellation request up to latest 24 hours before the session, by replying to the booking email received from the system. 75% fee is refundable in cash.
- No-shows & late cancellations within 24 hours – no refund, due to logistics including gear, instructors and food being booked.
BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY – BIKESMART COURSES
- booking online and payment on location in cash
- Cancellation up to 12 hours before session – If you are unable to join a session please cancel in email in reply to the booking email up to 12 hours before the session, to enable us to transfer spots to other children.
- No-shows – no-shows to a session will be charged upfront for the course fee on the next booking occasion
